This public lecture is a training aimed at students of the Archeology Study Program who are currently taking lectures in the 6th semester as a preparation for writing a thesis. The high interest of the participants in attending this public lecture was evident from the large number of early semester students who also listened to the material presented by one of the lecturers in the Archeology Study Program at Udayana University, Mr. Rochtri Agung Bawono, M.Sc. moderated by Mrs. Zuraidah, M.Sc.

The presentation of the material was opened with tips and tricks from Mr. Rochtri in making theses and proposals. This attracts the interest and enthusiasm of the training participants. Unmitigated, he also shared a bit of his personal experience in writing theses and proposals when he was still a student.

In the middle of the material presentation session, he explained that in working on a thesis usually the focus of students would be divided between 'good thesis' or 'quick pass'. "Do you want a good thesis, or graduate quickly?" said the alumni of the Udayana University Archeology Study Program. These remarks were at the same time a question and material for consideration for participants in public lectures. The material is followed by a detailed discussion of the important components of the proposal and thesis to the creation of scientific papers and articles.

This training is one of the programs held by the Archeology Study Program to prepare students to complete their final project properly and to graduate on time. The hope after holding this training is that the Udayana University Archeology Study Program can add records for competent graduate students in the future and final semester students will be better prepared to do their final assignment well.
