UDAYANA UNIVERSITY ARCHAEOLOGY PROGRAM HOLDS A PUBLIC LECTURE ON TIPS FOR DESIGNING AND WRITING ARCHAEOLOGY FOR GRADUATE LEVEL

Denpasar, 6 November 2023 – The Archeology Study Program held a public lecture entitled “Kiat Merancang dan Penulisan Arkeologi Jenjang Sarjana” which was held at the Goris Building, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Udayana University.


The speaker at this public lecture was a lecturer from the Archeology Study Program at the University of Indonesia, Ali Akbar, M. Hum. and lecturer at the Archeology Study Program at Udayana University, Rochtri Agung Bawono, M. Si. as a moderator who guides public lectures.


In presenting the material, Ali Akbar or familiarly known as Mas Ali Akbar, conveyed tips or hints in designing and writing proposals to theses. According to him, when designing and writing (proposals, theses, or study results) there is no need to feel pressured, as much as possible it is done in a relaxed but definite manner. He advised that what is needed in writing is consistency, at least there is always progress every day.



This time the public lecture was relaxed and light, but still invited curiosity and enthusiasm from the audience who were archeology students. This event closed with a discussion session and the presentation of a certificate by the Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Udayana University to Mas Ali Akbar as the speaker.



It is hoped that by holding the public lecture "Tips for Designing and Writing Archeology at Undergraduate Level" this time it can raise the enthusiasm of archeology students in creating written works and gain enlightenment in writing proposals and theses so that they can be completed well and on time.
