Talk Show Commemoration of 729 Majapahit "Utthapana Upama, Aiswarya Prasama"

The Udayana Archeology Study Program in collaboration with the Arsari Djojohadikusumo Foundation, as well as Manma Trowulan, Manma Unhas, Manma UGM, and Manma Udayana held a series of talk shows, as well as the Mandala Majapahit exhibition to commemorate 729 Majapahit. This activity was held at the Widya Sabha Mandala Auditorium, Faculty of Cultural Studies, Udayana University. This activity carries the theme "Utthapana Upama, Aiswarya Prasama" which means Rising Together Strong Together, the hope is that this event can revive the spirit and togetherness between people as it should have been when the Majapahit Kingdom was at the peak of its glory.

 

In this series of events, videos about 729 Majapahit were also played and continued with a talkshow "Mandala Majapahit: Building the Revival of Majapahit Values" with several speakers including Syamsuli Akub (Manma Trowulan), Arundina Ardhanari Citraningtyas & Jujun Kurniawan (UGM), Andi Oddang (Unhas ), and Ni Ketut Puji Astiti Laksmi and Rochtri A. Bawono (Unud).

In the talkshow, the speakers explained material related to how we revive the values ??that existed in the Majapahit era in the modern era like today. In this talk show, the relationship between Majapahit and Balinese people was also explained. Where it is mentioned that there is a cultural relationship called the "kawitan" system, namely a system that considers itself a descendant of Majapahit. Furthermore, the seminar participants were also given the opportunity to discuss with the speakers about the material that had been presented.


This event takes place from 14.00 WITA to 17.00 WITA. Even though it was held during lecture hours, there were still many participants who attended and took part in this Talk Show event. In fact, the participants were very active in providing questions and responses related to the material presented by several of the sources above. After the Speech Show was over, the event was closed with a group photo session between the organizers and the participants.
