MANY ARCHEOLOGY STUDENTS ARE INVOLVED IN MBKM ACTIVITIES

MBKM (Merdeka Learning Kampus Merdeka) is a policy implemented by the Minister of Education and Culture since 2020 with the aim of adding to student experience, honing student skills, and preparing students to enter the world of work through various types of activities. As the largest state university on the island of Bali, Udayana University is the center of implementing the MBKM policy in Bali. The Archeology Study Program as part of Udayana University also participated in this policy.

In the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year, the Udayana University Archeology Study Program participated by sending 37 students from the 2019 and 2020 batches as participants. Several types of MBKM participated in by students of the Archeology Study Program for the 2022/2023 academic year include Entrepreneurial MBKM (10 students), MSIB MBKM (7 students), Research MBKM (12 students), BRIN MBKM (6 students), and Campus Teaching MBKM (2 students).



•MBKM Entrepreneurship

Independent entrepreneur is one of several MBKM programs initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. This program provides opportunities for students who want to learn and explore the world of entrepreneurship.

MBKM MSIB

MSIB is a type of MBKM activity in the form of a short internship experience with a learning experience designed according to challenges in the workplace in an industry or partner. There are 7 students from the Archeology Study Program who have the opportunity to take part in MBKM MSIB in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. Several independent study activities that have been carried out by Archeology Study Program students are running at SEAL with the theme 'Digital Transformation in The Government and Public Sector' and PT Solutif with the theme 'Online Marketing in the Middle of Incessant Technological Development'.

•MBKM Research

It is an independent program initiated by Udayana University to improve students' skills in research with the final result being journal publication. The three best teams with a total of 12 students from the Archeology Study Program have successfully passed the 2022/2023 school year to take part in the MBKM Research. The three teams conducted research in 3 places, namely Bali, Pasuruan, and Cikakak with the final results of the journal entitled "The Important Values ??of Environmental Conservation and Utilization of the Temple Springs for the Sustainability of Subak Gede PulaganKumba in the Village of Tampaksiring", "Colonial Buildings of the Indonesian Sugar Plantation Research Center as Pasuruan City Heritage Information Center », as well as «Cikakak in the Spice Trade Network in the Past».

•MBKM BRIN

Is a research activity facilitated by BRIN with the aim of creating a research ecosystem that is able to adapt and innovate through quality and competitive human resources.

•MBKM Campus Teaching

It is part of the MBKM which provides students with learning experiences outside the classroom as teaching staff at the basic education level. By participating in the MBKM Teaching Campus, students are expected to be able to increase their sense of empathy, ability to work together, communicate with all age groups, manage time, be disciplined, and work under pressure so that they can be equipped to work. There were 2 students who took part in the Teaching Campus MBKM activities in the 2022/2023 school year, one of them became a teaching staff at a junior high school located in Central Jakarta.
