INVOLVEMENT OF UDAYANA UNIVERSITY ARCHAEOLOGY PROGRAM IN PATI V ACTIVITIES IN SANGIRAN
The Udayana University Archeology Study Program participated in the implementation of Penelitian Arkeologi Terpadu Indonesia (PATI) V which was carried out in the Manyarejo Education Zone-Cluster, Sangiran Site, Central Java on August 1 – August 8 2023.
PATI V activities were attended by six Archeology Study Programs throughout Indonesia, consisting of Udayana University, University of Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University, Jambi University, Hasanuddin University, and Halu Oleo University and attended by Study Program Coordinators from each university.
Dr. Ni Ketut Praise Astiti Laksmi, S.S., M.A. as Coordinator of the Archeology Study Program at Udayana University was also present at this activity together with Kristiawan, S.S., M.Si. as supervisor and support lecturer Rochtri Agung Bawono, S.S., M.Si. who served as Coordinator in PATI V. There were also several representatives of the 2019 and 2020 class of students from the Udayana University archeology study program who took part in PATI V research in the Manyarejo Education Zone-Cluster, Sangiran Site, Central Java, including Arifan Oktaviansyah, Ilham Syahputra , Yasmin Lana Amara, Irene Joane Gabriella, Novia Desma Revi, and Andi Muh. The PATI V activity is a meeting place and field research between archeology study programs throughout Indonesia and also aims to preserve the Sangiran Prehistoric Area. It is hoped that this activity can establish friendship while encouraging awareness and sustainability in the maintenance of Cultural Heritage.
